Cameron Menzies has traded pipe wrenches for tungsten — and apparently, it’s Fallon Sherrock who’s bringing the heat. The darts world’s unfiltered Scot recently opened up about swapping his day job in plumbing for full-time darts… only to get routinely thrashed by his own girlfriend in practice!
“She batters me quite often,” Menzies admitted with a chuckle, referring to their training sessions. And no, he’s not talking about love taps — he means proper beatdowns on the dartboard. That’s right: the Queen of the Palace isn’t pulling any punches at home.
Since stepping away from the pipes and plungers, Menzies has had more time to sharpen his game. But living with Fallon Sherrock — arguably darts’ most headline-grabbing icon — means there’s no slacking off allowed. “She keeps me on my toes,” he says. Translation: she’s not just a partner, she’s his fiercest competitor.
But don’t worry — there’s no darts-based domestic drama here. In fact, Menzies credits Fallon not just for keeping his aim sharp, but for helping him level up mentally. “You see how hard she works, and you think — right, no excuses.”
Their relationship may be filled with cheeky banter and back-and-forths at the oche, but it’s also become one of darts’ most lovable (and competitive) partnerships.
So, while Cameron may be off the tools, he’s still getting drilled — just now, it’s by Fallon, with a 180 instead of a wrench.
