Man City’s Grealish Linked with Napoli, Milan and Dortmund

In a surprising twist to the summer transfer narrative, Manchester City star Jack Grealish has reportedly attracted interest from European heavyweights Napoli, AC Milan, and Borussia Dortmund. After a mixed season at the Etihad, where flashes of brilliance were interspersed with injury setbacks and inconsistent form, Grealish’s long-term future at City appears to be under scrutiny.

Since his high-profile move from Aston Villa in 2021, Grealish has struggled to fully cement his place in Pep Guardiola’s system, despite moments of quality, particularly in City’s treble-winning 2022–23 season. With City possibly looking to refresh their squad and raise funds for new signings, a sale could be on the cards — and these three clubs are closely monitoring the situation.

Napoli see Grealish as a potential successor to Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, should the Georgian depart. Milan, in turn, are looking to inject more creativity into their attack, especially after an underwhelming domestic campaign. Dortmund, known for developing flair players, could offer Grealish a key role and a fresh start in the Bundesliga.

While no official bids have been made, reports suggest initial inquiries have taken place. Grealish himself remains tight-lipped, focusing on City’s remaining fixtures and the upcoming Euros. However, a move abroad could revive his career and offer regular first-team football in a less tactically rigid system.

If these links materialize into a transfer, it could mark one of the summer’s most intriguing moves, signaling a new chapter for the £100 million midfielder.
