Kidney Health Herbal Tea
Ingredients:
- 1 tablespoon dandelion root (dried)
 - 1 tablespoon nettle leaf (dried)
 - 1 tablespoon marshmallow root (dried)
 - 1 tablespoon parsley (fresh or dried)
 - 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
 - 1 teaspoon ginger (fresh, grated or dried)
 - 1 teaspoon honey (optional, for sweetness)
 - 4 cups of water
 
Instructions:
- Prepare the Ingredients:
- Measure out all the dried herbs and spices.
 - If using fresh ginger, peel and grate it.
 - If using fresh parsley, chop it finely.
 
 - Boil the Water:
- In a medium-sized pot, bring 4 cups of water to a boil.
 
 - Add the Ingredients:
- Once the water is boiling, reduce the heat to a simmer.
 - Add the dandelion root, nettle leaf, marshmallow root, parsley, turmeric powder, and ginger to the water.
 
 - Simmer:
- Let the mixture simmer for about 15-20 minutes. This allows the herbs to infuse their beneficial properties into the water.
 
 - Strain the Tea:
- After simmering, remove the pot from the heat.
 - Strain the tea using a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth to remove the herbs and spices.
 
 - Serve:
- Pour the tea into a cup.
 - If desired, add a teaspoon of honey for sweetness.
 - Enjoy the tea warm.
